Attracting, Retaining and Engaging Employees

Kamloops is facing an unprecedented change in workforce demographics as the first wave of baby boomers begins to retire.

The Governments of Canada and British Columbia in partnership with Venture Kamloops have developed a series of employer toolkits to help businesses prepare themselves for these changes and assist them to better attract, retain and engage their employees.

Resource Tool Kits For Kamloops Employers is a series of four booklets that are available in hard copy free of charge at the Venture Kamloops office to all local Kamloops businesses. The booklets cover the following topics:

Booklet 1: How to Attract, Retain and Engage Employees

Booklet 2: It’s About Ability – How to Attract, Retain and Engage Mature Workers

Booklet 3: Under the Labour Radar – First Nations, Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities

Booklet 4: Diversity at Work – Recruiting and Retaining Immigrants

Contact Venture Kamloops at info@venturekamloops.com for your free copies.
