The population of Kamloops is primarily English speaking, though many different cultures are represented. Immigrants comprise just over 10% of the population; Italian, German and Punjabi being the most prevalent. The balance consists of Chinese, Filipino, Spanish, Dutch, Cantonese, and Hungarian.
